Walk-In-Care Update

Effective, Monday, September 21, 2020

Our Candlers Mountain, Forest, and Wards Road facilities will return to business as usual, seeing both sick and well patients. All three facilities will have the ability to conduct Coronavirus testing, in addition to providing our traditional, acute medical care services.

Our Amherst location will remain a Well Location for patients with NON-Coronavirus symptoms.

All patients must continue to wear masks or facial covering when visiting our locations. =

PLEASE NOTE: In an effort to focus our staffing and testing capabilities at our other Walk-In-Care locations, our Madison Heights location is currently closed and will remain closed indefinitely. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and hope to reopen this location at a later date.

As always, thanks for being a loyal Walk-In-Care patient!

Convenience in the Palm of Your Hand

Walk-In-Care Launches New App!

Walk-In-Care is proud to announce the launch of their new app! Now patients and visitors have even more convenience, right in the palm of their hand. The new app  has simplified functions to make navigating the Walk-In-Care easier.

Walk-In-Care Opens New Forest Location

Walk-In-Care Opens New Forest Location

On July 8, Walk-In-Care, LLC will open a new Forest location to better serve the west side of Lynchburg, as well as the Wyndhurst, Bedford, Goode and Forest Communities. The immediate care will focus on a range of acute illnesses, non-life threatening injuries, and sports and DOT physicals with extended hours and weekends.

Immediate Cares...Immediate Savings for Employers and Employees

As a member of Collaborative Health Partners, we offer immediate care health services at a fraction of the cost of an emergency room, with much less patient wait time! The goal is to make healthcare affordable, so employers can focus their time and attention on building the business. This is why we feature programs for pre-employment screening, drug testing, occupational medicine, workers’ comp examinations and physicals, in addition to convenient care.

Area Medical Practices Combine Under One Brand to Deliver Immediate Care Services

Physician’s Treatment Center and CVFP Medical Group have created Walk-In Care, with five locations open seven days a week.

Combining the strengths of both PTC and CVFP Immediate Care Centers, Walk-In-Care locations will expand access to medical care for acute illnesses and injuries as well as routine healthcare services, with several locations open seven days a week.

“This is a great example of two strong, independent groups in the community coming together to increase access, focus on quality, and work toward lowering the cost of healthcare,” says PTC’s Dr. Matt Tatom, who serves as President of Walk-In-Care.
